Once the location is obtained, the application retrieves prayer times from an external Prayer Times API that follows international calculation standards such as MWL, Umm al-Qura, or Egypt General Authority. The API response is processed within Dart, ensuring smooth integration and fast loading. Users also have the option to manually select a different city if they want to check prayer times for another region.
To enhance the user experience, the Jadwal Sholat Screen includes a countdown timer that displays the remaining time until the next prayer. This helps users manage their activities and prepare for prayer more efficiently. Notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging, reminding users a few minutes before each prayer begins. These reminders can be customized in the settings, allowing users to toggle alerts according to their preference.
For offline accessibility, the application stores the latest retrieved prayer times in the local database using SQLite or shared preferences. This allows users to still view the last known schedule even without an active internet connection.
The screen also includes an educational section that explains the importance of punctuality in prayer and introduces users to different prayer time calculation methods. This empowers users with both practical tools and meaningful knowledge.
